Privacy Policy

AssayDeck is published by Everlight Press. It offers free calculators, guides and software comparisons for small clinical labs. This page explains what information the site handles and why.

You do not need an account to use anything on AssayDeck. The calculators and checklists run in your browser: the values you enter are not sent to us and are not stored by us. Do not enter patient names or other identifiers; none of the tools need them.

We use two analytics services to see which pages are read and which tools are used.

• Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without third-party cookies. Vercel identifies a visit by a hash created from the incoming request rather than by a cookie.
• Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-M371K44DPQ) records general information such as the pages viewed, the page that referred you, and your browser and device type. It sets two first-party cookies: _ga, used to distinguish users, and _ga_<container-id>, used to keep session state. Both last up to two years.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.

If you write to us through the contact page, we receive your name, email address and message by email and use them only to reply to you.

We do not sell personal information, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not ask for payment or health information anywhere on the site.

Guides and comparisons link to vendors, CMS, state agencies and accreditation organizations. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave AssayDeck.

AssayDeck is written for laboratory professionals and is not directed to children.

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact page.
